The Civil Services Examination 2021 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has been announced today. Shilpa Khanikar of Guwahati has secured 506 places in this examination. She is the only candidate from Guwahati who got selected for UPSC Examination 2021.
Shilpa, A resident of the Hatigaon area in Guwahati, cleared her UPSC Examination on her third attempt. Sher did her schooling at Anand Academy in Dispur and HS from Cotton College. Later she did her graduation from NIT Silchar in Electrical Engineering in 2017.
A total of 685 candidates have been listed for IAS, IPS, IFS, and many other branches of Civil Services under the Government of India. The top standers have been selected based on their performance in all three rounds – Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Interview conducted by UPSC.
