The Office of the Deputy Commissioner issued a fresh order on June 14th that all educational institutes in the city, including Government and Private, be closed on June 15th due to heavy rainfall in the city.
Any institution that needs to conduct a scheduled examination is exempted from this order.

It is worth mentioning that due to heavy rainfall and landslide, 5 people have already lost their lives in the city. Many areas of the city are still under water.

In view of the heavy rain, Kamrup Metro DC urges people not to go outside the house unnecessarily. On an urgent basis, the statement was circulated on June 14th to the people of Kamrup Metro.
