In a tragic incident, one person died on the spot in a road accident in the Bellota area of Guwahati.
A speeding bus hit the person who was on his way to work on his two-wheeler.
While trying to overtake, the city bus (AS 01 HC 2629) hit the person riding his two-wheeler.
The deceased has been identified as Mustaque Alam, who was working with the Guwahati-based news portal Time8.
The police have seized the city bus.
