Kamrup Metro: All educational institutes to be closed for the second consecutive day due to incessant rainfall

The Office of the Deputy Commissioner issued a fresh order on June 15th that all educational institutes in the district, including Government and Private, be closed on June 16th due to heavy rainfall.

Any institution that needs to conduct a scheduled examination is exempted from this order.

Order 15th June

The educational institutes were closed on 15th of June in view of the heavy rainfall.

It is worth mentioning that due to heavy rainfall and landslide, 5 people have already lost their lives in the city. Many areas of the city are still under water.

In view of the heavy rain, Kamrup Metro DC urges people not to go outside the house unnecessarily.
