A student from Assam’s Lakhimpur district has brought laurels to the state by securing the top position in her Master’s degree in Hindi at Sikkim University.
Preeti Shah, daughter of Ramananda Shah, was awarded a gold medal and certificate during the university’s convocation ceremony. The honour was presented by Droupadi Murmu in recognition of her academic excellence.
Her achievement has drawn praise from several quarters, including Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Lakhimpur MLA Manab Deka.
