Assam has been awarded first prize in the National Energy Conservation Awards 2025 under Group 4, with President Droupadi Murmu presenting the honour to the state for its efforts in promoting energy efficiency.
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced the recognition on social media platform X, expressing pride in the achievement.
