In a tragic accident, three Indian Army soldiers lost their lives after their vehicle fell into a 700-foot-deep gorge in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district. The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. near Battery Chashma on the treacherous National Highway 44, which connects Jammu to Srinagar.

The soldiers who died in the accident have been identified as Amit Kumar, Sujeet Kumar, and Man Bahadur. All three were part of a convoy making its way toward Srinagar when the ill-fated vehicle veered off the road and plunged into the gorge.

Heart-wrenching visuals from the site reveal the mangled remains of the military truck, with personal belongings, official papers, and the bodies of the soldiers scattered across the rugged terrain.
