A horrible incident occurred in Guwahati during the Bihu celebration when a group of young people got into a brawl at a Bihu programme, and a young person was killed during the tumult with a sharp item.
Another young person, Simanta Talukdar, was seriously hurt in the event, which happened on Saturday night in Maligaon.
In connection with the incident, the Gaushala police detained one suspect, Rahul Baishya, while a search operation to detain a second suspect from the group is ongoing.
