A major accident has happened at Bongaigaon railway station in Assam. A under-construction shed of the railway station collapsed. Reports are coming of several injuries from the railway station. The injured are admitted in the civil hospital. The condition of 3 amongst the injured people is said to be serious. Swapnaneel Deka, Superintendent of Police, Bongaigaon, said, around 5.45 PM a group of labourers were working when the overhead shed collapsed and the incident took place. Talking to a news agency, SP Swapnaneel Deka said “The overhead shed lost balance while being fitted. Altogether eight labourers have been injured. The condition of three is serious and they have been admitted to a private hospital, while the remaining five are undergoing treatment in the civil hospital,”
