Assam Govt announced financial rewards to the winners at the 4th Khelo India Youth Games, held at Panchkula in Haryana.

Assam govt announced a financial reward of Rupees 1 Lakh, 50 thousand and 25 thousand to the winners of Gold, Silver and bronze respectively. 

Minister of Sports & Youth Welfare, Cultural Affairs, Tourism & Power Bimal Bora announced the financial rewards in a high-level meeting.

They also announced that each participant from Assam would also get a financial reward of rupees 20,000 each.

Khelo India Youth Games 2021 started on 4th June and continued until 13th June. In this National competition, 62 players participated from Assam in different games, including Swimming, Boxing, Weightlifting, gymnastics, badminton, running, etc.

It is worth mentioning that Assam bags 14 medals till today at Khelo India Youth Games 2021, which includes 2 Gold, 7 Silver, and 5 Bronze.
