Kamakhya Temple:  One of the most famous and revered temples in India, Kamakhya Temple is located in Guwahati itself. It is dedicated to Goddess Kamakhya and is a major pilgrimage site for Hindus.

Umananda Temple: Located on an island in the middle of the Brahmaputra River, Umananda Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is a popular tourist destination and attracts a large number of devotees during Shivratri.
