Mirabai lifted a weight of 88 kg in snatch. At the same time, Mirabai made the best effort of 113 kg in clean and jerk. That is, Mirabai lifted a total of 201 kg. This was the Commonwealth Games record.
Mirabai Chanu also won the gold medal in the 2018 Commonwealth Games held on Gold Coast. Mirabai also won the silver medal in the 2014 Commonwealth Games. In the Birmingham Games, Mirabai Chanu made the veterans admire her by performing brilliantly.
The most historic moment in Mirabai’s career came when she won the silver medal for India in the 49 kg weight category at the Tokyo Olympics.
