Expressing concern over the Assam floods, Indian cricketer Riyan Parag has appealed to the people for help.
This Assamese cricketer, who played for Rajasthan Royals in IPL, has tweeted about the Assam floods. In this tweet, Riyan has told the people of the rest of the states that if you like Assam tea, support Assam in its difficult times.
Riyan Parag tweeted on Tuesday afternoon, “If you can celebrate the tea of Assam, you must also be concerned for the floods of Assam.

This tweet of Riyan Parag has come due to the devastation caused by the floods in Assam.
Currently, 47 lakh people of Assam’s population are suffering from floods. Out of 36 districts of Assam, 32 are in the grip of floods. Due to this, 82 people have lost their lives so far.
The central government is constantly in touch with the state government. PM Narendra Modi spoke to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday.
In view of the horrific flood situation in Assam, the opposition is continuously demanding a relief package of 20,000 crores from the central government.
Riyan Parag, 20, hails from Assam. He was born in Guwahati, Assam. Ryan had already made his debut for the Assam team before playing in India and IPL in Under-19. In domestic cricket, he plays for the Assam team.
Riyan Parag has not debuted for India. But he has been an important part of the Rajasthan Royals camp in IPL since 2019. In IPL, he has scored 522 runs in 47 matches. At the same time, in List A and first-class cricket, he has taken more than 1700 runs and 47 wickets.
