Neeraj Chopra is India’s first-ever athlete to bag Gold for the country.
In Neeraj Chopra’s first competitive outing after Tokyo Olympics, he settles for Silver. Finland’s Oliver Helander won the Gold with a through of 89.83m.
Neeraj fouled on the subsequent three attempts. He threw 86.92 in the first attempt and 89.30 in the second, but he was fouled in the following three attempts. In the sixth attempt, he threw 85.85 meters and finished second.
