MBOSE HSSLC Result 2022: Meghalaya Board 12th result declared – Check here

MBOSE HSSLC Result 2022: Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) has declared the 12th result. Students can check their results through the official website mbose.in. You can check the 12th result.

The Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) board exams were conducted from March 25 to April 21, 2022. The exam was conducted in offline mode following the COVID-19 guidelines.

As per the reports, the exam result will be declared along with the merit list of the top 10 students in commerce, science and vocational streams. The board will also release the MBOSE 12th subject wise highest marks. Students must collect the original copies of their MBOSE HSSLC mark sheets from the respective school authorities after the 12th result in 2022.

In 2021, Meghalaya was one of the states that did not cancel the board exams despite the increasing cases of Covid-19. In 2021, the result of class 10th and class 12th was declared on August 5. Last year a total of 80.93 per cent of students passed. Around 30,000 students appeared for the board exams during the second wave of the coronavirus.

About MBOSE

The Meghalaya Board of School of Education (MBOSE) was set up as per The Meghalaya Board of School Education Act, 1973 to regulate, control and supervise matters related to School Education in the state of Meghalaya, India. It was initially set up to control the SSLC Exam until the North-Eastern Hill University(NEHU) discontinued the Pre-University degree in 1996.

Since then, MBOSE has been responsible for conducting the Secondary School Leaving Certificate(SSLC) and the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate(HSSLC) Exam in the state. Initially, it started functioning in the Office of the Director of Public Instruction, Shillong, and later shifted to Araimile, Tura, in 1974.

MBOSE also has a regional office located in the state capital of Shillong. At present, there are about 1400 affiliated schools spread across Meghalaya.
