Police arrested an ITBP jawan on the charge of raping a 13-year-old minor girl multiple times after taking her to the army residence. The incident happened at Rangpo town in Sikkim.
The victim’s mother filed a police complaint against the trooper of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). There she complained that the jawan sexually assaulted her minor daughter several times.
Her daughter has been abused for several months. She also alleged that a sub-inspector and a local minor were involved in this work with the ITBP jawan.
According to police sources, the victim’s mother has alleged that the accused jawan raped her 13-year-old daughter several times since last April.
Based on the complaint, A ITBP jawan has also been arrested. A case has been registered against the accused under POCSO Act. They detained the accused minor and started interrogation. The investigation is going on against the accused sub-inspector as well.
On the other hand, the victim has been sent to a local hospital for a physical examination.
