Tripura also followed the path of West Bengal in granting leave to government employees during Durga Puja. There, government employees are getting continuous leave during Durga Puja as well.
However, that leave amount is slightly less than in this state. Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has said that government employees are getting leave from October 2 to 10. This decision was taken in the Tripura cabinet. However, October 2 is Gandhi Jayanti. Government offices are already closed on that day.
During Durga Puja, government offices will be closed in the state from October 1 to 11. Chief Minister of Tripura Dr. Manik Saha, said that about one and a half lakh government employees of the state and their families joined in the joy of the world’s biggest festival Sharad Utsav.
It has announced a continuous holiday from October 2 to October 10 for the employees. According to the Chief Minister of Tripura, government employees will join their workplaces with a more positive mindset after spending holidays with their families during Sharad Utsav days.
