An Army helicopter, Rudra, crashed on Friday (October 21 2022) morning Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh. There were 5 soldiers in the helicopter. According to the report, the bodies of four have been recovered. The search for one is on. Of these, 2 are pilots.
According to the reports, the Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) carrying the army personnel crashed near the Singing village at 10:43 am. The singing village is 25 kms from the Tuting headquarters. The helicopter was on its regular flight.
According to the locals, ALH Rudra carried two pilots, Major Vikas Bhambu and Major Mustafa. Along with this, three technicians were also on board. The helicopter took off from the town of Likabali and crashed about 35 km from the Chinese border. The accident site is not connected by road. Due to this, there was also trouble in the rescue and relief work.

Upper Siang SP Jummar Basar said in the morning, “The accident site is a hilly area, and the search and rescue team will take time to reach the spot.”
