The Ministry of Home Affairs has taken action within hours of news of IAS couple Sanjeev Khirwar and his wife Rinku Dugga misusing facilities at Thyagaraj Stadium in Delhi. The Union Home Ministry has transferred Sanjeev Khirwar, both IAS officers of the AGMUT cadre, from Delhi to Ladakh and Rinku Dugga from Delhi to Arunachal Pradesh.
It is worth noting that there were reports on Thursday morning that the IAS couple was forcibly evicted from the stadium to walk their dog at the Thyagaraj Stadium in Delhi. The players and the stadium coach had made serious allegations against Delhi Chief Secretary (Revenue) Sanjeev Khirwal, saying that Delhi Chief Secretary Khirwal had asked the athletes to come out of the stadium for a walk with his dog. Because of this, his practice has been interrupted.
