On Thursday, the Guwahati airport administration delivered to the special CBI court CCTV footage from January 5, when Indrani Mukerjea alleged that two lawyers saw a woman resembling her slain daughter Sheena Bora.
A CD containing security screening footage was placed in a sealed envelope. It is being sought after by Indrani.
The court granted an order to the airport authorities in this regard on January 12. Mukerjea, the former CEO of INX Media, who is on trial for allegedly murdering her daughter, made this claim in a petition.

Representing Indrani, attorney Ranjeet Sangle stated that one of the attorneys had known Sheena since 2007 and that she had filed an affidavit along with the video filmed by them. Sangle urged the court to request that the agency confirm the woman’s identity.
The CBI, on the other hand, stated that Sheena’s survival was impossible based on the available evidence.
“When it is clearly proven based on evidence that Sheena was dead and that she was slain by the accused or applicant and others, the outrageous assertions made by the accused or applicant or their attorney, Saveena T. Bedi, are untenable as they would constitute a mockery of justice.” “In addition, the DNA report proved that the skeleton discovered during the investigation was Sheena’s,” the article stated.
Since Indrani kept saying that Sheena was still alive, the court decided that it wouldn’t hurt to find out if the woman seen at the airport was the supposed victim.
According to the prosecution, on April 24, 2012, in Mumbai, Indrani, her ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna, and her driver Shyamvar Rai strangled Indrani’s daughter from her first relationship, Sheena. The next day, they dumped her body in a Raigad district forest.
Sheena Bora’s murder case is a high-profile criminal case in India in which Sheena Bora, a 24-year-old woman, was murdered in April 2012. Her body was discovered in a forest in Mumbai. The prime accused in the case were her mother, Indrani Mukerjea, and her stepfather, Peter Mukerjea. The trial resulted in the conviction of Indrani Mukerjea, her former husband Sanjeev Khanna, and driver Shyamvar Rai for murder, conspiracy, and destruction of evidence. The case attracted widespread media attention and was widely covered in Indian news.
