Monkeypox in India: Another suspected case of monkeypox in Delhi, symptoms along with travel history; All states on alert

Another suspected case of monkeypox has been found in Delhi. The patient has been admitted to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital in Delhi. It is being told that the person has symptoms of the virus-like skin rashes and high fever. The patient’s sample has been sent for examination. However, the report has not come yet.

It is worth mentioning that a total of four cases of monkeypox have been reported in the country.

It is being told that the suspected patient has returned after traveling abroad. Therefore, the patient’s sample has been sent to the National Institute of Virology, Pune.

According to the report, a person who came in contact with the first patient infected with monkeypox from Delhi has complained of body pain. However, he is still under observation.

So far, four cases of monkeypox have been found in the country. Of these, three have been found in Kerala and one in Delhi. The first monkeypox patient found in Delhi is admitted to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital and is recovering. However, he is being told that it will take at least one more week for his skin rashes and wounds to heal. On the other hand, after the case of the monkeypox, the Union Health Ministry issued an alert to all the states.
