A painful road accident happened late at night in Sohagi mountain of Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh. About 15 laborers have died while 40 people have been injured in a horrific collision of 3 vehicles. The accident happened on National Highway 30, connecting the MP-UP border.
All these laborers were going home to celebrate Diwali. After getting information about the incident, the Sohagi police reached the spot, and the police carried out a rescue operation and pulled out the passengers trapped in the bus. Those injured in the accident have been admitted to Toonthar Civil Hospital and Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in Rewa.
This entire incident is being told on Friday night. The bus was going from Jabalpur to Prayagraj via Rewa. It is being told that the passengers were going to their homes in Lucknow after boarding a bus from Secunderabad to celebrate Diwali.
Meanwhile, the first passenger bus reached Katni. More passengers were filled in the bus from Katni to Lucknow. After this, the bus left for Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh with the passengers. As soon as the bus reached the Sohagi mountain of Rewa, it got out of control and collided with the truck. The truck was loaded with ballast. As soon as the collision took place, the bus overturned. During this, all the passengers sitting on the bonnet and front seat of the bus died.
It is being told that more than 100 passengers were on the bus as soon as the bus reached Sohagi mountain, and the truck ahead of the bus collided with an unknown vehicle. During this, the uncontrolled bus collided with the back of the truck and overturned. The driver collided with the truck and is missing from the spot with the vehicle. Since the incident, the police have been investigating the entire incident. According to the police, all the passengers among the dead are residents of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Nepal, whose administrative team is still looking for them to inform their families.
Upon getting information about the incident, many villagers gathered on the spot. The police team also reached the spot and carried out a rescue operation. Collector Manoj Pushp, SP Navneet Bhasin, and all the administrative officers reached the spot on the spot.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has expressed grief over the road accident in Rewa district late at night. Chouhan spoke to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on the phone on Saturday morning and told that the mortal remains of the passengers who died in the accident are still kept in the shrine, and they will be brought to Prayagraj respectfully by the Madhya Pradesh government.
