Nepal’s army resumes search operation, locates the site of ‘9 NAET’ plane crash, picture surfaced

The twin-engine ‘9 NAET’ aircraft of Tara Airlines crashed in Nepal on Sunday. The Nepal Army on Monday traced the place where the plane crashed. The army launched a search operation again on Monday morning to gather information regarding the plane crash. Nepal Army Said that the search and rescue team had located the crash site. The army has also shared the picture of the Sanosware of Thasang-2, the site of the plane that crashed in Mustang.

A team led by Nepal Police Inspector Raj Kumar Tamang reached the accident site by air. Officials said that it is difficult to identify the bodies of some passengers.

However, the campaign continues. It is worth noting that there were four Indian nationals, two Germans and 13 Nepalese passengers in the plane, and three Nepalese crew members at the time of the incident. An army spokesman said that Nepal’s army had received clues about the wreckage of the crashed aircraft of the airline ‘Tara Air’ in Mustang district.

Brigadier Narayan Silwal said, ‘The soldiers and rescue workers have located the accident site. The crash site is Sanosware of Thasang-2 in the Mustang district. The Twin Otter 9N-AET aircraft of Tara Airlines took off from Pokhara at around 10 am on Sunday but lost contact with the control tower 15 minutes later. 22 people were onboard the plane, including four Indians, two Germans and 13 Nepalese nationals. No information has been found about them yet.

According to officials, it was difficult to reach the wreckage of the crashed plane due to inclement weather and cloudy sky. This Canadian-made aircraft was going from Pokhara to the famous tourist town of Jomsom in central Nepal. According to the list of passengers released by the airline, the Indians present in the aircraft have been identified as Ashok Kumar Tripathi, his wife Vaibhavi Bandekar Tripathi and children Dhanush Tripathi and Ritika Tripathi. This family hails from the Thane district of Maharashtra.
