The Department of Pharmacology, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University, earned accolades at the prestigious Medical Pharmacologists Society Conference (MPSCON) 2025 held at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Guwahati. Themed “Pharmacology at the Crossroads: Innovations, Evidence & Future Frontiers,” the conference served as a leading national platform for discussions on the future of pharmacological sciences. Representing AMU, junior residents Dr Abhinav Tiwary and Dr Amrita Kumari Pandey from the Department of Pharmacology actively participated in the postgraduate oral paper competition. Dr Tiwary secured the First Prize in the Oral Paper Presentation category for presenting a pre-clinical research study, while Dr Pandey delivered a systematic review and meta-analysis. Prof. (Dr.) Syed Ziaur Rahman, Chairman, Department of Pharmacology, congratulated the students on their achievements and expressed pride in their contributions to national academic forums. He encouraged them to continue engaging in high-quality research and scholarly exchange, underscoring the importance of such platforms in advancing medical science.
