Assam Higher Secondary Results 2024 Likely in Early May

AHSEC Office

The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) is expected to declare the results for the Higher Secondary (Class 12) examinations within the first week of May, as per statements from the state’s Education Minister Ranoj Pegu.

Addressing media persons on Monday, Pegu confirmed that the AHSEC 12th results are likely to be announced on first week of may, barring any unforeseen circumstances. However, he expressed optimism that the results could be unveiled even earlier, potentially before April 30, if all processes are completed smoothly.

A total of 2,80,216 candidates appeared for the Higher Secondary examinations this year, including 1,39,486 male and 1,42,732 female students. The maximum number of students, 2,06,467, were from the Arts stream, followed by 54,287 from Science and 17,582 from Commerce.

Once declared, students can access their results through the official AHSEC website (ahsec.assam.gov.in), the state’s results portal (results.assam.nic.in), and other private result hosting websites like results.shiksha and indiaresults.com. Results will also be available via SMS services and the Upolobdha mobile app.

The Education Minister is expected to formally announce the exact date and time for the results declaration on his official Twitter handle. Students are advised to keep monitoring official sources and avoid relying on rumours.

This year’s Higher Secondary examinations were held after the successful conduct of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) or Class 10 examinations, the results of which were announced on April 20 by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA). Anurag Doloi topped the HSLC results, with Jharna Saikia securing the second position and Manash Pratim Saikia, Bedanta Choudhury, and Devashree Kashyap sharing the third rank.
