Royal Enfield has significantly expanded its Continental GT Cup for 2025, doubling the number of selection venues to eight cities across India. This year’s championship will hold qualification rounds in Chennai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Guwahati, Delhi-NCR, Pune, and Bengaluru, making track racing more accessible to enthusiasts nationwide.
Online registrations are now open for riders interested in participating in the competition, which maintains its innovative two-series structure: the Pro-Am series and the Twin Power Trophy. The only requirement for eligibility is a valid driving license, with participants able to choose between professional or amateur categories based on their experience level.
The Guwahati selection round, scheduled for May 10-11 at Warisa Estate in Sonapur, marks the first stop in this year’s nationwide talent search. This inclusion particularly benefits riders from the Northeast who previously had to travel considerable distances to participate in such motorsport events.
The selection process follows a consistent format across all venues. Shortlisted participants will spend the first day receiving training from expert riders at the Royal Enfield Track School, followed by selection rounds on the second day based on lap times. This structure allows amateur riders to gain valuable skills before competing.
All qualifying rounds lead to the final selection at Coimbatore’s Kari Motor Speedway from July 3-6, 2025. Through the zonal rounds, Royal Enfield aims to select 64 amateur and 50 professional riders, with the fastest 24 from each category securing spots on the final grid.
The competition continues to feature the popular Pro-Am format, allowing amateurs to race alongside professionals on race-prepared Royal Enfield Continental GT650 motorcycles. Additionally, the Twin Power Trophy pairs each professional rider with an amateur, creating teams that foster mentorship and skill development.
The full schedule of selection rounds includes:
- Guwahati: May 10-11 at Warisa Estate, Sonapur
