Ranbir Kapoor secured the Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male) for his remarkable portrayal in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s controversial film, “Animal.” Simultaneously, Alia Bhatt clinched the coveted trophy for Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female) for her outstanding performance in Karan Johar’s romantic family drama, “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.”
Vidhu Vinod Chopra was honored as the Best Director, and his biographical drama “12th Fail” was crowned the Best Film, triumphing over noteworthy contenders. Devashish Makhija’s thriller, “Joram,” received the Filmfare award for Best Film (Critics’), showcasing excellence recognized by critics.
