Local Utpaat – Assamese film “Local Utpaat” a big hit – collected Rs 1 crore at the box office

The long-awaited Assamese film “Local Utpaat” was released in theaters of Assam on May 13 and received a satisfactory response from the audience. Many viewers in the state felt a kind of urge to watch “Local Utpaat”. This has had an impact on the box office collection of the film.

The film is about two hours long and is directed by Kenny Deuri Basumatary. He had already won the audience’s hearts with the film “Local Kung Fu.’

The film was released in 35 theaters in Assam on May 13, and the box office collection touched Rs 1 crore. Sharing a thank you message to its audience, the makers of “Local Utpaat” said this is a big hit. In 3 weeks, the film collected 1 Cr+ collection.

They also said that after deducting GST, Tax, Cinema Hall Share, and Distributor share, the producer will get almost 35-40%. The rest will be distributed as final payment to its cast and crew. And the leftover money will be invested in “Local Kung Fu 3”.

Maker’s hint of “Local Kung Fu 3” –

After the box office success of “Local Utpaat”, the makers shared a hint that they will produce a new sequel of succor “Local Kung Fu”.

It is worth mentioning that the film “Local Utpaat” also grabs massive attention on screens outside Assam.
