Bollywood actor Salman Khan has received a new death threat via email, and as a result, the Mumbai police have opened an investigation and filed a case. Salman’s neighbours have increased security, and the actor’s family has encouraged him to steer clear of outside shooting. According to reports, once Salman Khan received the threat, the atmosphere around his home is rather sombre.
In the scary email threat addressed to a close friend of Salman, it was said that the gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s “life’s goal was to assassinate Salman Khan” and made reference to his recent interview. In response, the Bandra Police increased security outside Salman’s residence in Bandra West, launched an investigation into the most recent developments, and detained Bishnoi and his associate Goldy Brar.
The Hindi email was sent by Rohit Garg, who also wished to speak with the star. After receiving a complaint from “Team Salman,” the police have also detained him. The email encourages Salman to watch the Bishnoi interview if he hasn’t already, and to speak with Garg and Brar in person if he wants to end the situation. He would set up the meeting.
Everyone in Salman Khan’s family and staff is seriously worried about his safety, according to a source cited by ETimes. The police have taken good action in response to these new threats, and they are making sure that the security arrangements are acceptable, so this has shook things up. In the next days, his crew has been instructed to stay away from any on-ground activities. Also, his movie (Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan) is soon to be released, thus any promotional efforts must be planned accordingly.
Gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldie Brar, and Rohit Brar have been charged with violating sections 506 (2), 120 (B), and 34 of the IPC by threatening Salman Khan over email.
