Assam Student falls into mid day meal boiled dal pan – immediately rushed to hospital

A child fell into a boiled dal pan while collecting his mid day meal at a school in the Dhubri district of Assam. The child was seriously injured. The incident occurred at an LP school in the Gauripur education sector while Gunotsav was going on.

A group of students entered the kitchen while going for lunch. Two cooks were preparing lunch. At that time, a group of students started pushing to collect food. The 8-year-old student, Mizanur Rahman, fell into a boiled dal pan due to pushing.

The cook allegedly called a group of students to eat lunch in the kitchen. It was at that time that this incident took place. The injured student was immediately admitted to Dhubri Civil Hospital.

The school allegedly has only 20-25 thali against 130 students. For which 20-25 students are allowed to eat lunch in the school kitchen itself. As a result, there is a rush every day among the students.

Even today, the child fell into a hot dal pan due to the rush that started to eat in the first group. The unwanted incident allegedly took place due to the negligence of the school’s headmaster.
