In a bid to boost education and early childhood development at the grassroots level, SRF Foundation convened a village-level planning meeting at Tamulikuchi Primary School, located in the Dimoria constituency of Kamrup (Metro) on May 14, Wednesday. The session, held under the Rural Education Program, focused on planning initiatives for schools and Anganwadi centres for the year 2025–26.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from a diverse group including school teachers, Anganwadi workers, community volunteers, and local residents. The gathering served as a platform to review ongoing activities and chart a collaborative path forward to enhance educational infrastructure and services in the region.
SRF Foundation currently supports development initiatives in 10 primary schools and 29 Anganwadi centres within the Dimoria Primary Education Block. Their multi-pronged approach includes:
- Infrastructure Development: Upgrading physical facilities in schools and Anganwadi centres.
- Digital Empowerment: Integrating modern technology to elevate the quality of learning.
- Academic Enrichment: Promoting innovative teaching practices to ensure better student outcomes.

The Foundation also announced plans for special programs tailored for Anganwadi centres, aimed at improving early childhood care and learning.
