The Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) has decided not to hold the Assam HSLC General Science exam in 2023. The test was slated for March 13, 2023.
The board has not yet disclosed the new dates for the science HSLC exam.

Assam’s Minister of Education, Ranoj Pegu, posted an official notice from SEBA on his Twitter account. SEBA has canceled the General Science part of the HSLC test, which was supposed to happen on March 13, 2023. This is because the media said that question papers had been leaked. The following date will be made known soon.
On other social media sites, there were also a few images of the exam paper being shared.
There have been reports of pupils employing unfair tactics (cheating) in the Cachar district’s JR Ucchotor Madhyamik Vidyalaya Gonirgram Higher Secondary Examination Center, leading to the cancellation of the HSLC Test for the English subject.
In the meantime, the Assam police have launched an investigation into the question paper leak.
