The Guwahati concert is part of Assam’s newly launched Policy for Concert Tourism, aimed at positioning the state as a hub for large-scale international entertainment events. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma earlier said the initiative is expected to boost cultural engagement and drive local economic activity.

“Assam is now ready to host world-class concerts and events. Post Malone’s performance will mark a new beginning for the state’s concert tourism policy,” Sarma had said, adding that Guwahati, Jorhat and Dibrugarh will emerge as key concert destinations.

The event is being produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live and Live Nation in collaboration with the Government of Assam. Organizers announced that tickets will be available on BookMyShow starting September 20 at noon.

Post Malone’s world tour also includes major international stops such as the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2025 and the MDLBeast Soundstorm Festival in Riyadh, underscoring his global popularity.
