PM to lay foundation stone of Assam Health Innovation Institute at IITG

PM Narendra Modi to lay the foundation stone of Assam Advanced Health Innovation Institute which will be located at IIT Guwahati Campus on April 14. PM scheduled his visit to Assam for the auspicious occasion of Bohag Bihu.

In order to use cutting-edge technology to transform medical science, the Assam Advanced Health Innovation Institute is being established in conjunction with the Assam government.

In the presence of Gulab Chand Kataria, the governor of Assam; Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, the chief minister of Assam; Dr. Mansukh L. Mandaviya, the minister of health and family welfare of India; the government of India; and Shri Keshab Mahanta, the minister of medical education and research of Assam, the prime minister will essentially lay the foundation stone during his visit to AIIMS Guwahati.

The Assam Advanced Healthcare Innovation Institute is intended to be a centre of excellence for the development of cutting-edge medical technologies and the expansion of our understanding of cutting-edge medical fields.
