Pension Seva Kendra: Assam CM inaugurates Pension Seva Kendra – Know its features

A total of 27 pension Seva Kendra is inaugurated by Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma and his colleague ministers in 27 districts of Assam. Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated the Guwahati Pension Seva Kundra on Friday.

However, he also added that the number of Pension Seva Kendra would increase to 35 shortly.

Taking to Twitter, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma said – Happy to inaugurate Pension Seva Kendra (PSK) of Kamrup (M) set up by AMTRON at DEEO office, Guwahati, to ease the hardships of pensioners.
AMTRON has set up PSKs in 27 dists to facilitate scanning/uploading of Service Books & submission of pension proposals through Kritagyata Portal.

What is Pension Seva Kendra, Assam?

Pension Seva Kendra will be set up in each District Educational Office to ease the hardships of pensioners. Pension Seva Kendra operators will scan & upload Service Books and forward correct Service Books & records to Heads of Offices functioning as custodians of Service Book through the Kritagyata Portal.

Kritagyata Portal is software that will be used to regulate and maintain Pension records in Assam. AMTRON develops it.

What will be the features of Pension Seva Kendra –

PSK is set up to ease the hardship of pensioners. The pensioners are requested to keep in touch with their respective pension seva Kendra to regulate their pensions immediately.

Pension Seva Kendra operators will scan & upload Service Books and forward correct Service Books & records to Heads of Offices functioning as custodians of Service Book through the Kritagyata Portal.

Assam Cm Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma also mentioned that this process would speed up the entire pension regulation process, benefiting the state’s senior citizens.

He also stated that –

If we do justice to the pensioners now, we will get justice on the day we get our pensions. Pension Seva Kendra was inaugurated in 27 districts today to reduce the difficulties faced by government pensioners in receiving their pensions. I am delighted to inaugurate the Kamrup (Metro) District Pension Service Center set up by AMTRON at the District Primary Education Officer’s Office, Guwahati. AMTRON has set up Pension Seva Kendra to facilitate submitting applications containing pension-related matters and scanning/uploading service books through the online Acknowledgment Portal. Pensioners will be able to avail of various facilities through these service centers in their respective districts, and this service will further simplify the process of receiving pensions from now on.
