In the Elite Women’s National Boxing Championship, the boxing team of Assam comes out with flying colors. The championship is going on in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
The Elite Women’s National Boxing Championship is one of the major boxing competitions organized in the country for women. The championship started on December 19 and ended on December 26.
Lovlina Borgohain of Assam won the Gold Medal in the Middle Weight Category of the completion. In the 70-75 kg weight category, she defeated Arundhati Choudhary. Meanwhile, Ankushita Boro settles with Silver Medal in the Welter Weight category.
In the 63 to 66 kg weight category, she lost to Manju Bamboria.
