Kolkata-bound Indigo flight skids off runway in Assam’s Jorhat Airport – Flight canceled

Indigo’s plane is in trouble again. A Kolkata-bound passenger plane skidded off the runway at Assam’s Jorhat airport. After several hours of effort, the aircraft’s fault could not be repaired. The flight was eventually canceled. But in the end, all the plane passengers are said to be safe.

What exactly happened?

According to the reports, the 6F 757 (6E757) aircraft was taking off. But two wheels of the plane slipped a little while on the runway. At the same time, the wheel got stuck in the mud in the field next to the runway. As a result, the aircraft’s engine suddenly stopped with a jerk. Panic naturally spreads. The passengers were later taken out of the plane.

A local journalist uploaded a picture on Twitter. It is seen how the plane wheels are getting stuck in the grass after falling off the runway. The flight was scheduled to leave at 2:20 PM, but at 8:15 PM, the flight was canceled. IndiGo’s response to the journalist’s post has informed that they are treating this accident very seriously and are presenting the entire matter to the concerned team.

Recently, the airline SpiceJet has been seen repeatedly in trouble. Besides, the Indigo plane was also seen to have an accident. A few days ago, smoke was seen coming from the cabin of an Indigo flight from Raipur to Indore. However, no major accidents occurred in the end.
