IPS Sujoy Lal Thaosen (IPS) has been appointed as the Director General of ITBP. IPS Sanjay Arora has been transferred from the Director General of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) post to Commissioner of Delhi Police.
Senior Indian Police Service officer Sujoy Lal Thosen was made the new Director General of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) a few days earlier.

Thaosen, a 1988-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre, was handed over the baton by officiating DG and ITBP chief Sanjay Arora at the headquarters of the force in R K Puram.
