The Assam government will provide scooters to all the students including boys and girls who secure first division in Higher Secondary (HS) Examination under the provision of Pragya Bharati Scheme.
Scooter will be provided to 29,748 girl students securing 1st division and 6,052 boys with 75% marks HS examination, 2022 will also be provided with scooters. This is to encourage education and ensure better results in HS examination.
A total cost of 258.9 cr to incurred for proving scooters among meritorious students of Assam under Pragya Bharati Scheme.
