International Knowledge Festival 2023

Beginning on Monday in the Kokrajhar region of Assam, the first Bodoland International Knowledge Festival 2023 was organised by the Bodoland University with assistance from the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) government.

Bangladeshi Nobel Prize winner in economics Professor Muhammad Yunus, Padma Shri winner Savji Bhai Dholakia, SECMOL founder Sonam Wangchuk, Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi, BTR Chief Pramod Boro, Assam Assembly Speaker Biswajit Daimary, Assam minister UG Brahma, and Consul General Jigme Thinlye Namgyl of the Royal Bhutanese Consulate General in Guwahati.

Muhammad Yunus, who started the Grameen Bank in Bangladesh, talked about how important it is to give women more power in society. He also talked about the bad effects of climate change and artificial intelligence.

Bodoland Territorial Region Chief Pramod Boro called the start of the Bodoland Knowledge Festival “historic” and said, “It is better to light a lamp than to bemoan the darkness.”

“The crisis in BTR was resolved thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s inspiring leadership.” We can now envision a peaceful, green, and technologically advanced Bodoland thanks to the Bodo Peace Agreement 2020. Prof. Muhammad Yunus’ eminent presence is a huge blessing for us. He is currently the planet’s outstanding leader. He is also referred to as the “Banker to the Poor” and is a strong supporter of and advocate for mankind.

I firmly believe that the mind and the heart are two very potent gifts from God. As the mind and heart came together, people experienced extraordinary, joyful, and delightful events. Pramod Boro made a remark.

Pramod Boro added that despite a four-decade journey marred by war, they are dedicated to improving the lives of 3.5 million people in the BTR.

The goal of the Bodoland International Knowledge Festival is to reach important SDG 2030 social development goals in modern BTR and around the world.
The Knowledge Festival is being attended by more than 10,000 people, more than 300 delegates from all across India, and 35 foreign representatives from 14 countries.

Up through March 2, the International Knowledge Festival 2023 will continue.
