Renowned Assamese actor Deepjyoti Keot, popularly known as Mohan, has been admitted to Health City Hospital in Guwahati after experiencing health issues. Following consultations with medical professionals, it was advised that he undergo immediate tests.

Subsequent assessments revealed a heart-related illness, leading to the decision to proceed with an angioplasty surgery.

The medical team at Health City Hospital is overseeing the angioplasty surgery, and updates on Deepjyoti Keot’s condition are awaited. Fans, colleagues, and friends are hoping for a successful procedure and a speedy recovery for the beloved actor.

Deepjyoti Keot, a well-known figure in the Assamese entertainment industry, has garnered a significant fan following for his contributions to Assamese Television Industry. As news of his hospitalization spread, concerns among fans and well-wishers prompted an outpouring of support for the actor.

The surgery was conducted by a team of doctors under the supervision of cardiologist Dr. Mayank Agarwal. Medical reports revealed that one of the two critical veins in Deepjyoti’s heart was blocked by 99%, while the other was blocked by over 70%.

As of the latest update, Deepjyoti is under medical supervision in the ICU, and his health condition is reported to be slightly better and stable compared to Monday. Further assessment of his critical condition will be possible after 48 hours of continuous medical observation. All reports in the morning have been positive, providing hope for his recovery.
