Earthquake tremors have occurred near Guwahati, the capital of Assam. The tremors were felt 19 km northeast of Mangaldai. According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake occurred at around 12:27 pm and its intensity was 3.5 magnitude. The depth of the earthquake was estimated at 10 km below the ground. However, due to the low intensity of the earthquake, no information about any damage has been received.
