Dibrugarh University Ragging Incident– Main suspect Rahul Chetry surrenders

Rahul Chetry, the main suspect in the Dibrugarh University ragging incident, has finally surrendered. Rahul Chetry surrendered at Lekhapani police station. Rahul Chhetri was absconding for nine days.

Rahul has already been handed over to the Dibrugarh police. Rahul Chetry had been hiding in Arunachal Pradesh for the past few days. Rahul said in a video that he was hiding due to insecurity. The accused said he would now cooperate in the legal process.

Rahul added – “As a law student, I have confidence in the justice system. I will report the whole incident to the law. The law will provide fair justice. Which is why I am coming out now. There will be a good investigation, I will get justice and Anand Sharma will get justice too.”
