Describing the university as “an epicentre of learning,” Sarma said these initiatives would significantly enhance academic infrastructure, including the construction of new hostels, staff housing, modern sports and fitness facilities, and upgraded internal infrastructure.

Under the PM-USHA scheme, plans include new academic buildings, research and incubation centres, digitally equipped libraries, and computer labs, all aimed at modernising the university ecosystem.
