Bulldozers run on Assam’s Madrassa: CM Sarma says Assam becoming a hotbed for Islamic fundamentalists

A madrasa run by Mustafa alias Mufti Mustafa has been demolished in Assam with a bulldozer. Mufti Mustafa has connections with a Bangladesh-based terrorist organization arrested recently. The Jamaul-Huda Madrasa, associated with this suspected terrorist, has been demolished by the Assam Police today. The building of this madrasa was declared dangerous by the district administration.

Giving information about this, SP Aparna N of Morigaon district said, “Jamiul Huda Madrasa run by Mufti Mustafa in Moirabari area has been demolished today.” This madrasa has been accused of promoting terrorist activities.

Let us inform you that Mufti Mustafa’s connection with Bangladesh-based terrorist organization Ansarullah Bangla Team and AQIS was revealed, after which he was arrested. The Assam Police had arrested 12 jihadis associated with this organization from Morigaon and Barpeta after their connections to terror outfits like Al-Qaeda and Ansarullah Bangla team were revealed. Before this arrest, the sleeper cell, which sheltered the Bangladeshi terrorist, was busted.

The roots of the Ansarullah Bangla Team terrorist organization are spread in the country, and they have been making infiltration attempts from the border of Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Recently, UP and Assam submitted a report related to infiltration in the country’s border areas to the Union Home Ministry. The report said that the population of the particular community in the border areas had registered an increase of 32 percent since 2011. Whereas during this period, the country’s population change figure has been up to 15 percent.
