In a tribute to one of Assam’s most respected scholars, the “Tabu Ram Tide Memorial Museum and Library” will be inaugurated on August 1, 2025, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Professor Tabu Ram Tide, a prominent figure in the fields of education, literature, and linguistics.
Announcing the event on Twitter, Assam Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu stated that the inauguration will also mark the launch of the Tabu Ram Tide Literature Awards, established to recognize and encourage excellence in Assamese and indigenous literature.
