The much-awaited results of the Assam SEBA HSLC (Class 10) exam for 2023 have been announced on May 22, 2023, with Hridam Thakuria from Sankardev Shishu Niketan, Dhekiajuli, emerging as the state topper by securing 596 marks. The second position was shared by four students: Ishrat Fariha from Nagaon Govt. Boy’s H S School, Lucky Devi Choudhury and Manmita Sarma from Ananda Vidya Niketan, Nalbari, and Aditya Anupom Konwar from St. Joseph’s School, Sonari.
This year, a total of 4,15,324 students appeared for the board test, out of which 94,913 students secured the first division, 1,48,573 students attained the second division, and 58,394 students landed the third division. Further highlighting the overall performance, 8,517 students earned distinction marks, and 18,653 students achieved star grades.

The results have reported a total pass percentage of 72.69 percent across the state. This crucial announcement marks the conclusion of the Class 10 academic journey for these students, and opens new avenues for their future endeavors.
