On Monday, Assam Cabinet decided that Janta Bhawan (Assam secretariat) will shift to the paperless mode for many administration purposes from 2nd October 2022. Minister Public Health Engineering, Skill Development Employment & Entrepreneurship, and Tourism Jayanta Mallabaruah addressed the press at a cabinet meeting. He also stated that Standard Operating Procedure for e-Files disposal would also be issued soon. With This govt aims to shift to paperless administration.
