On Friday, the first day of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examinations in Bilasipara, Assam, five applicants were disqualified from taking the test. According to reports, one each from Lakhinganj HS School and Nayeralga HS School and three students from Barkanda People's Academy Center were involved. The candidates were dismissed for employing dishonest tactics to appear in the English Paper. This time, 4,22,174 students take the high school graduation exam. There will be 912 testing venues all around the state where the exam will be given. There will be 1 million 94,000 54 students taking the high school equivalency test. On the other hand, 2,281,120 students will take the test. Strict security measures have been installed in the examination centres. CCTV cameras have also been installed. With 27,647 pupils, the Barpeta district will have the highest number of high school test takers in the state. In Majuli, there will be at least 3,037 students taking the high school exam.
