A sense of fear and anxiety has gripped Assam’s Dhemaji district as five students from the same school have gone missing since Thursday. The students, all from Class IX of Little God Model School, have not been seen or heard from in over 24 hours, leaving their families and authorities deeply concerned.
The missing students have been identified as Ankurjyoti Gogoi, Bhabesh Gogoi, Iganku Dutta, Rakrim Mukhiya, and Lopendra Sonowal. According to reports, they left for school at 9 AM on Thursday but did not return to their homes.
Local authorities have launched an extensive search operation, covering railway stations, bus terminals, and other locations in the district and surrounding areas. Family members, worried and desperate for information, have also joined the search efforts.
As the hours pass, concern continues to mount among the local community. Officials urge anyone with information regarding the students’ whereabouts to come forward and assist in the search efforts.
